Production Year Festival this function are the major changes. The concurrence''''a section is open to all feature films from around the world.
Previously, this section has been limited to feature films from Asia, Asia-Pacific, Africa and Latin America. 18 films (15 foreign and three Indian) films have been selected for participation.

The Indian Panorama will have 26 films, including Achin Paakhi, Abohomaan, Maner Manush Ami Aadu (Bengali), Three Idiots, wake Sid, Paa (Hindi), Kaal Chilambu (Malayalam), Ravana (Tamil), I Sindhuthai Sapkal (Marathi ), which is the opening film of the Panorama, Shabari (Kannada), Swamyamsiddha (Odiya).
Others will have 21 films in Indian Panorama. "Leaving Home" will be the opening film, not the feature film category.
Another important aspect of the festival will commemorate the Golden Jubilee Film and Television Institute of India. Five films have not hosted by the projection of the institute.
As part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of cinema Odiya, five films were screened during the festival Odiya.
There is also a screening of two films, which are related to ''Dada Saheb Phalke Awarsess" namely VK Murti and D. Ramanaidu.
In addition to the above, the centenary of the best professionals of Indian cinema, including Ashok Kumar, was the showing of films. As part of a special screening of the festival in India 'Oscar merkintä''Peepli Live''in the presence of key cast and crew is also intended.

Renowned film producer and director Yash Chopra will be the chief guest of the function.
